“ We had an event at Bakery Square and were running late, but stopped in to see if we could grab something quick to eat. To my surprise they were able to get us food and drinks in a flash and had us on our way quicker than I could have hoped, the tako taco is still one of my favorites, chips were fresh, queso was really tasty and had just a hint of spice that made it that much better. My go to drink is a jalapeno margarita, and I was able to tear through one before we had to dash to our next stop. We will definitely be back when we can spend more time, I can't wait to visit in the summer time. ”

“ I can't find anything bad to say about my lunch experience at tako torta in Bakery Square. The vibe is relaxing and made me in a good mood. We went on a Wednesday around noon and it was pretty mush empty. You seat yourself and use the QR code on the table to look up the menu, you order at the desk near the kitchen and then go get the food from a box shelf. They will send you a text with the number of the box your food is in. Cutlery, glasses, and napkins are recyclable and you have to get your own water (still or sparking). The girl taking the orders was very nice and approachable and explained how it worked clearly. We ordered a custom grain bowl and the fish taco (grilled fish for me but it comes fried in beer batter as default). They prepared them in 10 minutes sharp. My companion said that the bowl was tasty and abundant even if it didn't look like and my fish tacos were tasty, delicate, and satisfying. Even if they use plastic plates they really look trendy and don't feel cheap at all. I'm obsessed with the back room with the hanging flowers but in general it's obvious that they took care of all the details. Even the bathroom was elegant but quirky! I will definitely go back for dinner to try one or five of their cocktails! I recommend it for a casual lunch or dinner and if you are in a rush but want to eat healthy. I'm not sure if I would go on a first date here since I didn't see many 2 seats tables and everything is very bright (but maybe in the evening they dim down the lights?) but the food is *chef's kiss* and that's a way too impress too! ”

“ My first experience with this restaurant was actually their downtown location with my Husband. I fell in love with the Tako taco that night & shared some pictures with my mom. She was VERY interested yet skeptical about it. She assumed the Octopus would be bland & chewy. So, I said how bout we go together so she could try it for her self & see I wasn’t lying. The only thing is, my mom is not a going out in the late evening kind of person & I knew that location opens at around 5 so it would be a stretch. After some googling I found this location with lunch hours & it’s close to her house! #Score! So freakin perfect! My mom & I met here for lunch the other week & she was blown away first at the overall look & feel of the restaurant & then the food. She absolutely LOVED the Tako taco & said she would be coming back to this location often. It makes me happy that she enjoyed it so much. For lunch we shared Guac & chips. The Guac was fresh & delicious. The chips were also incredibly fresh and delicious. My mom found the Guac to be just a little on the salty side but I thought it was perfect. It also didn’t prevent her from taking the remaining chips & Guac home with her. Haha. We both had a Fresca, hers was Mango & mine was the watermelon mint; both were very good & refreshing. Lastly, we both got a Tako Taco, the star of the show, & they were phenomenal (not that I expected anything less). We loved the balance of flavors & textures & then that kick of spice from the harissa aioli. A perfect taco. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful. You can tell that much care was put into the decor. My mom really loved the use of live plants too. The customer service was great & we thought the robot delivering our entrees to our table was SO cool. We can’t wait to come back for another Mother & Daughter lunch. ”

“ Posting an update from my last visit. Got the chef's special Guacamole and the Fish Sandwich lent special that was awesome! Huge upgrade over the standard Friday Fish frys! Also, save room for the Churro! The chocolate and caramel sauces are amazing. Don't miss it! Recently visited on a Saturday evening. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, Restaurant was busy, but not crowded, and we got a table without a wait. Service was attentive, even the robot! Started with speciality cocktails, & chips and pico, For main dishes, we ordered 2 tacos, Baja fish and Carnitas, Elote, and the Mediterranean bowl. All of the food was fresh, well portioned, and very flavorful. For dessert, we had the Pumpkin Flan which was delicious. A great dinner all around! Highly recommend for the quality, value, and taste. ”

“ I like their new place, it’s big and have a lots of space. You really don’t need to make a reservation in advance. We always walk and find a great table. The food is very delicious and yummy. Definitely try all the tacos and if you are on a mood to make your bowl, DO IT! It’s so easy and super delicious at the end. ”
